Simon Carrière

Singer-guitarist since he was 12, he is a complete artist. Both a performer with a powerful and warm voice but also a songwriter, arranger and producer.
At 41, Simon is today shaped by his career as a songwriter of songs in French before he was 25 and his second musical life in English where he traveled throughout Europe with his revisited covers such as England, Scotland and Ireland where he recorded an album "Live from the Streets of Ireland" in the streets of Dublin and Galway in 2013.
With this experience and a life marked by family and personal dramas, he delivers to us with his voice his desire to live, to fight to be happy despite everything and delivers a strong message of universal love with a whole range of emotions.
Simon is an example of resilience and has always kept within him his childhood and young man's dream of meeting his audience beyond the borders of France. By giving a second life to his original songs written in French but also with his more recent compositions in English, he shares with us his philosophy of life marked by his experience which gives strength and meaning to the music of The Frenchy Captains while highlighting its exceptional musicians.
